IT"S A .........

Well for those of you who have not heard the news...................it is a BOY..................again!! In all seriousness we are so excited!! Kaitlynn was way bummed as you can imagine. She sure had her heart set on taking care of a baby sister. She has since been promised a girl horse, a girl dog of her chosing, and a real sister (even if we have to buy one Jared says). She seemed to be happy with that. I tried to convince her that she would just get to be the Princess of the family, but you know Kaitlynn, that did not do much for her. We are all finally recovering from a rough month in January. I was sick with respirtory and sinus infections, the kids got yucky colds, Jared has had a bad chest cold and Jacob was seen in the emergency room twice. Jacob first pulled a table down on his head and had it pinned between the tile floor and the table. He had a concussion, two black eyes, a double bloody nose, and a really bad headache!! They said nothing was broken it just looked really bad for a week or so. Then just as the bruise was fading, Connor slammed Jacobs thumb in a door and took the end or his thumb half way off. You could see the bone and the nail had to be ripped out to try and re-attach the thumb. It is healing finally and he is lucky he still has his thumb. That boy has many more than 9 lives!! Everything else is going good. I would love to put some pics on but our camera has been down for a while but hope to have some soon!

Court,
Yea for boys! I am so happy for you guys and I hope that Kaitlynn is not too disappointed. I know how bad she wanted a sister. Halle still cries herself to sleep every night wishing she had one. Silly girls. Anyways, hope you are still feeling good.
I'm glad to find your blog and keep up to date on you guys! It's fun!
Love,
Jenni

Actually, Court, you forgot the night you had to take Jake to the hospital for his "high fever". That made 3 trips to the emergency room this month for him. Aren't you glad kids are so resilient and forgetful of the bad things that happen to them. He recovered much easier than his parents did. Love them all, though. Wouldn't trade them for "nuttin"!!
