We are ALIVE!!!

Well to all you who have worried and fretted about our exsistence here in Moab....we are alive and doing so so so so so so much better. That was a rough couple months for me and the rest of the family as you can imagine. We are so glad to be in the 2nd trimester of this pregnancy. I was seriously beginning to worry that it was going to be twins but they assured me there is only one baby in there. You never know how bad you have really felt until you start feeling better. I am so glad that I have Jared!! He pretty much took over there for a while! But the kids and Jared are all so patient and awesome. Jacob would rub my tummy all the time and "make it better" . Kaitlynn said she was sorry that the baby had to make me so sick!! But anyway, glad to have that behind me. We had a great Halloween and Thanksgiving! I was great to get to spend time with family. We are also so excited to get to go to Arizona for Christmas!! We will be leaving on the 20th (or if Jared has his way the 16th). We will get to be there until the 4th of January!! Hopefully I will be able to get some current photos on before we leave. I have been trying to play catch up for the last few weeks.. I missed out on a lot of house work and christmas prep time! So hopefully I will catch up before we leave. It is certainly great to be back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And the due date is.......

So I went to the doc today for my first official visit!! I always hate the first visit-all the joys of a papersmear (i don't know how to spell it). But it was mostly painless and not so bad. My doc is kinda funny while he is doing his thing he just carries on a regular conversation as if we were in the hall at church. I guess he thinks that makes it easier. Anyway, my due date according to the calendar is June 20 which is right between Kailtynn and Brigs bday, but if you ask me it will be at least a week after that so probably right around Brigs bday. June is a good month though right before it gets too hot here. The kids get more and more excited everyday which makes me think it is going to be a long 9 months. But all is well with us and just wanted to share the latest news!!

A Cold Day in .......... PROVO!!

BYU vs Eastern Washington
So isn't this just the most beautiful picture!! The game was on Saturday afternoon. Jared, me, Grandma, Cassie, and Tiera decided to support our team even though we knew that it was supposed to be a little cold. There was a slight chance of snow so we came prepared for cold!! Th first quarter of the game was great BYU was doing great. Hall struggled a little but we were still kicking trash and then......
All heck broke loose with the weather as seen below. The game started out with full attendance and ended with only those die hard BYU lovers!! I am proud to say that I was found among the "TRUE-BLUE" fans!! It was freaking cold!!!
Jared was such a trooper letting me steal all of his body warmth and letting my rain poncho drain onto him. It was actually more fun once it started snowing because the players were all over the field. They would try to tackle one another and they would slide 20 yards!! Oh yeah, did I tell you it was COLD!!!
So the picture below is us getting ready to leave. We won by 40 points!! It was a blow out and we stayed anyway!! As you can see the crowd around us has kinda cleared out (like after the 5th touchdown). That cut down on our wind breakers greatly!!
We are all smiling so big because we know we are on our way to a warm car!!
Here is the girls before it got too cold!! Their cheeks and noses are not red enough for it to be snowing yet!! Don't you all love Cassie's beanie! She said it was the only beanie that was cute enough to look "manish" for!!

Long Live the Husband that I HAVE!!!

I know that as times goes on in mine and Jared's marriage I get more and more demanding!! I ask so much of him and at times I do not give enough in return. He sacrifices so much to spoil me and the kids!! And whole cow could not ask for a better father. I have never seen children so in love with their dad! (Probably because he never really grew up). So the other day I had a break down day (before I knew why the increase mood swings) I was so overwhelmed by all that I "Thought" I needed to do. Jared as always swoops in and lightens my load. I know that people can try to change one another as they are with one another longer!! But I am here to say I love Jared for all that he is RIGHT NOW!! Truly God knew he was the perfect man for me!! Sorry that this is so mushy but it truly is what is in my heart. So I say long live the husband that I have....with all of the crazy, quirky, childish, loving, and thoughtful habits!!!

Promise BROKEN & KEPT!!!

So after our last child Brig was born I endured many months of questioning as to when we were going to have another child. It was as if no one trusted me when I told them that we were taking a break ( mostly my fault because we did not tell anyone I was preg with Jake or Brig till I was forced by the belly at 5 months...we just liked it better that way). So about a year ago I promised the whole family that if I were to begin thinking about another child that I would let them know. Well, I did break part of that promise not unpurpose just for lack of time!! That is right, it is true!! Number 5 is on the way. It must have been right because it took a whopping 2 1/2 weeks to happen. So I faulted on the first part but here I am telling one and all we are expecting. I am just barely preg and it will be due sometime in early June. That is right my 3rd June baby?! Must be something about Sept and October??? Well we are all excited and Kaitlynn has already begun praying for a sister! So keep your fingers crossed for her!! Really though, it does not matter. Just wanted you all to know and share in our excitement!!

The Lord and your Dentist.

Strange title??? Let me explain....we had a sacrament meeting today (well obviously) and our local seminary teacher taught. Present at the meeting were 4 of the 6 dentists in the valley. The speaker started out by asking us what the big deal is about oral hygiene?? (bear with me dentists) First you brush, then you rinse, then you floss, sometimes repeat, and so on. He said you can spend up to 30 minutes on your teeth each night. He said we finish up and then head to the bed side to say our prayers and 1-2 minutes later we are in bed geting ready to dream away. He said I think we spend much more time on our oral hygiene than we do on our knees!! Okay so I have to admit I do not spend 30 minutes on my teeth....sorry aaron...but I do spend some and I am embarressed to admit that at times it is longer than I spend on my knees. I just thought that was a good reminder for our bedtime rituals. Make sure and give the Lord your time and what is left to your dentist!!! We all had a great sunday today. Kaitlynn gave a talk on Faith about her Uncle Chandler ( what a great example!!) .. Kids did great at church it was definately a successful sunday .. Great meals .. Good company .. GREAT DAY!!!
